Day 36

back to Fasting Section

He shall say: “Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”

Deuteronomy 20:3-4 (NIV)

We read in these two verses how the Lord instructed His people to go into battle. Then He assured them that He would go with them, fight the battle for them and give them victory!

The very same way the Lord guaranteed them a victorious win over their enemies, He is assuring us today that we already have victory in Jesus Name over any challenge, crisis or situation we may be confronting at this time.

We must understand, believe and live this powerful truth, that God is the source of all victory! In other words, without God there is no victory, and with God victory is possible. You see, when God fights our battles we can trust that the end result will be a triumph. We don’t fight in our own strength, but with the help and assistance of the Almighty God. The Lord is instructing us today as United Women In Ministry to rise up, and go into battle with a determination to fight the good fight of faith knowing that we will be VICTORIOUS because He is with us and He is fighting for us! We have to continue to use our spiritual weapons of PRAYER and FASTING to fight this spiritual war.

God desires to work the impossible in us and through our lives. He longs for us to live in communion with Him, to be able to experience miracles, signs and great wonders! God is ready to move in our impossible situation by giving us breakthroughs, doing God size miracles, but we must continue to pray to break off the natural limits. God has called us to live in the world of the supernatural!

Let us thank the Lord for our victory because in Him, we are more than conquerors!
