Day 12

back to Fasting Section

Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.”

Psalms 100

Sometimes I think of our life’s and how busy we can become…I begin to think, can I , will I, accomplish all that is required , expected and needed of me?  When I think of it as Required it begins to feel more like a chore, a duty, a task.  It can easily affect my attitude and heart and not in the most positive way. The world’s culture encourages us to act on the basis of how we feel.  As those feelings quickly come, they can quickly go when we enter into His courts with praise and thanksgiving.

I want to Worship the Lord in my busy life, and have a heart of GRATITUDE! I don’t want to reflect on all I need to do , but reflect on who God is.  He has been so good to us.  His unfailing love has seen us through some challenging times personally and within our ministries.  We have witnessed the faithfulness of our Lord throughout each generation.

I thank God for our founders , Pastor Sonny and Sister Julie, I thank God for those that have gone before me, I thank God for those that lay down their life’s every day in the mission field, I thank God for those that give financially to support this great vision.   I’m grateful that I have been called to such a ministry. I thank God for my family, my husband and children.  I’m thankful for my church family.  I’m so thankful for the celebration of 50’Years of VICTORY.  And though the days of work for the Lord are in front of me, I’m grateful I have a purpose.
