Welcome to U.T.C. South Africa
The first step toward the adventure of your life. What is God doing in your life? Asking the question is one thing; actually experiencing His power and purpose is something entirely different. This is what's at the heart of the Urban Training Center Cape Town, South Africa campus.
The program is an intensive six-month or one-year commitment, where young adults, ages 18–35, immerse themselves in Bible study, personal development, and practical ministry training, built around three curriculum areas: Reach, Train, and Release.
It begins by helping students discover God's unique calling, uncovering not only their talents and gifts, but their passion. As those gifts emerge, they are strengthened with a foundational knowledge of the Bible. Then students put what they're learning into practice, going to “the highways and byways” to reach those who are desperate to hear the truth.

Before You Apply
Enrollment Requirements
- Ages 18 to 35, single
- A 6-month or 1-year commitment
- One-week Christmas vacation
- Strict dress code; no dating during the program
- Round-trip ticket (where applicable)
- Personal or group medical insurance
International students: apply for your passport 2–3 months before enrollment. South African visitor visas typically take 2–6 weeks to process.
