Since our humble beginnings in 1967, Victory Outreach has grown from a single church into a global movement of more than 700 churches and ministries spanning six continents. From the streets of East Los Angeles to cities throughout North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Latin America, we are committed to reaching people with the hope of Jesus Christ and meeting the needs of individuals and families from every walk of life.
For nearly six decades, Victory Outreach has been dedicated to restoring lives, developing leaders, and building strong communities. Through church planting, Victory Homes, Urban Training Centers, and leadership development, we equip men and women to fulfill their God-given purpose, whether that means pioneering a church, serving in ministry, building a successful career, or raising a Christ-centered family. Today, our mission continues to transform lives and impact cities around the world, one person at a time.
Our Roots
BORN IN East Los Angeles
It all began with a simple yet courageous act of faith. In 1967, Sonny and Julie Arguinzoni opened the doors of their East Los Angeles home to men and women struggling with addiction from the nearby Aliso Village housing projects. To people they had never met, they offered the hope of the Gospel and a life-changing message: God loves you, and He has the power to transform your life.
What started as one family's obedience to God's call became a global movement. Today, Victory Outreach spans more than 700 churches and ministries across six continents, planting churches, operating Victory Homes, training leaders, and bringing hope to some of the world's most challenging urban communities.
