For over 60 years, the foundational beliefs that have been our primary motivating factor are seen evident in the thousands of lives that have never been the same since they walked through our doors.
We are uniquely distinguished by our fundamental belief in God's love and in the transforming power of His love for hurting people from all walks of life.
Our beliefs are not abstract doctrine, they are convictions lived out daily in churches, recovery homes, and training centers around the world. Every life we have touched stands on the same foundation: the truth of God's word, the power of His Spirit, and the unwavering hope of the Gospel.
What We Believe
OUR Core Tenets
THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE
The Bible is our all-sufficient rule of faith and conduct, the verbally inspired and authoritative word of God in both Old and New Testaments (2 Tim. 3:16).
THE ONE TRUE GOD
There is one living and true God who has revealed himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three in one, the same in substance and equal in power and glory (Mt. 28:19).
THE GREAT COMMISSION
Christ commands the Church to reach the lost: 'Go and make disciples of all nations' and 'preach the good news to all creation' (Mt 28:19; Mk 16:15).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Spirit of God is actively building the Church, through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for empowered service, speaking in tongues, and spiritual gifts to every believer (Acts 1:4-8, 2:1-4).
SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST
God has provided salvation through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of His Son. Repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ are the conditions for salvation (Mk 1:15; Jn 3:16).
GOD'S TRANSFORMING LOVE
We are uniquely distinguished by our fundamental belief in God's love and the transforming power of His love for hurting people from all walks of life, regardless of social, economic, or cultural background.
