The Chief Cornerstone
I Corinthians 3:10-11
“According to Gods grace that was given to me. I have laid a foundation as a skilled master builder, and another builds on it. But each one must be careful how he builds on it. V11 for no one can lay any other foundation than what has been laid down. That foundation is Jesus Christ.”
The apostle Paul informs the church in Corinth to be careful how they build. This reminds me of how our founders challenge us to build on Christ, to keep an intimate relationship with God, and to remember that it is Jesus who has been with our ministry for nearly 50 years. So we must continue in Christ Jesus and his supernatural power, being careful to build our house on the Lord, and to not allow the worries or the obstacles in life that satan will bring, hinder us from the memorial stones of prayer, and the Word of God that have been laid down before us by our founders, elders and the pioneers of our ministry. The word of God says “unless the Lord builds the house, it’s builders labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1).
When we’re people who build on the foundation of prayer “we will” experience His
supernatural power “He will”, give us wisdom and skill to fulfill the call of God in our lives, and “we can”, walk in His authority knowing who we are in Christ Jesus! So let Christ be your foundation today, and remember those things that have been laid before us by continuing to build that special and intimate relationship with God, through Prayer, Fasting and His Word.
Thessalonians 5:28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
