Victory Education Training Institute's philosophy of education is Evangelical; it is our purpose to perpetuate the Pentecostal experience and the missionary and evangelistic fervor that have characterized this movement since its inception. Incorporated into the above is the urgency of educating a ministry that will serve the spiritual needs of a world steeped in humanism, materialism and secularism.

MISSION STATEMENT

Victory Education and Training Institute assists the Elders, Regional Pastors, and Pastors in equipping their people to fulfill the mission and vision of Victory Outreach International. 

The School does this by providing doctrinal correct, practically oriented, centralized and decentralized training tailored to fit the mission and people of Victory Outreach International. 

We develop and maintain balanced curriculums on two levels: the Associate of Religious Studies Certificate and the Ministerial Studies Diploma to prepare God’s people for the specific ministry and calling that God wants them to fulfill. 

The school functions under the anointing and covering of the Elders, VETI’s Board of Directors, and VETI’s Steering Committee which requires the school to closely follow the direction given by the Holy Spirit, as well as the vision, principles and values of Victory Outreach International.

OBJECTIVES

  1.  To prepare Christian believers for the life and ministry to which they have been divinely        called, instructing them in the Word of God and in the disciplines needed for an effective        ministry.
  2.  To maintain a high level of Christian conduct, both in the areas of spiritual growth and        intellectual development.
  3.  To encourage evangelistic and missionary fervor in accordance with the great        commission.
  4.  To perpetuate the gospel in a multicultural setting by educating and training students to        effectively minister to the varied needs of the church.
  5.  To guide students to the discovery of their spiritual gifts and foster a commitment to the        ministry of the church of Jesus Christ.
  6.  To prepare students for collegiate and seminary studies.

Over the years, our Institute has produced hundreds of dedicated pastors, evangelists, missionaries and lay workers. Strong and committed as ever, the Institute is prepared to send generations of workers into the Harvest.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

Victory Education and Training Institute accepts without reservation the Statement of Fundamental Truths of Victory Outreach International. This statement of faith is as follows:

• The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written word of God.
  
  
• There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. 
  
  
• In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles,
  in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the
  right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. 
  
  
• In the blessed hope, the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming; the only means of
  being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ; regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. 
• We believe in the ordinances of the church, as taught in scripture, that water baptism
  is by immersion. 
  
  
• The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.  The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believer who asks for it. 
  
  
• In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.   
  
  
• In the resurrection of the saved and the lost; the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

OUR HISTORY

Since its beginning in 1967, Victory Outreach International’s Founding Pastor Sonny Arguinzoni Sr. and Sister Julie’s vision has been for the hurting people of the world; preparing them for the work of the ministry through discipleship, leadership development, and academic training.  The ministry offered relevant education is Biblical, Theological, and Ministerial disciplines, but they desired a Bible School for the Outreach.  They had a vision ahead of their time:  to prepare a people of destiny for such a time as this.  

Victory Outreach School of Ministry began in 1983.  In December 14, 2001, the School of Ministry officially became an Institute with the state of California: Victory Education and Training Institute (VETI).

VETI upholds their vision.  Our school is a diamond factory; polishing the “Treasures Out of Darkness”.  Diamonds in the rough being prepared to go back into the world of granite gray stones and find the lost “treasures” - the lost humanity of society. We work very closely with our Urban Training Centers strategically located throughout the world.  We meet the needs of a multi-cultural population by offering instruction in English, Spanish, and Dutch, thus providing a setting conducive to the development of an effective multicultural ministry. 

We are experiencing a time of growth.  To date, the Institute has expanded to over 60 extensions.  With all our extensions, we’ve served thousands of students in the U.S. and around the world.
